Please be in relatively good shape prior to touring or climbing the mountain. Yes, they have camels, but not for the entire mountain trip.

I visited from the United States. The cultural differences were challenging for me, and if you are a picky eater or have dietary restrictions, bring your own food. For those who struggle with debilitating anxiety, it may not be advisable to go.

  St Catherine sunrise tour  - I took St Catherine sunrise tour. Unforgettable experience of climbing about 2.3km to the peak under Milky way and the bright stars, but was totally worthy.

• Gloves, thermo clothes ( cold was only at the peak due wind).
• Hike is not difficult if you are fit. The most difficult part was 750 stair steps. Because some people from the group was flashing with the light and was difficult to see where to step.

Secondly, they were very helpful in planning pir trips. Even when I wasn't sure what I wanted, they were very helpful in making suggestions and making sure that my days were utilised to the maximum.

In Cairo, we had an entire day to ourselves as we waited for our midnight plane back to Sharm. They could have just left us to our own devices after our tour but they ensured that both the driver and guide spent the entire day with us until airport drop off, making sure that, as 2 lone women, we weren't left alone.

As far as customer service, I give top marks and woild recommend to all.

The tours, we booked the Combined Sunset and Sunrise hike in Sinai Mountains and the Pyramids of Giza....both tours were amazing. We were well looked after, the driver came on time and all of our tour guides were brilliant. The itinerary of both tours and activities that Dahab booked for us were brilliant.

Raheem is an affable guy, who understood our needs and arranged the trips - good, reliable guy.

  Nice experience 2day Luxor - Did a 2day Luxor tour from Cairo by airplane. Driver was on time to and from Cairo Airport. In Luxor, the representative was already waiting when we landed. We then... read more met our guide Hgreta. On ocassion, she was a bit fast but on time, knowledgeable and gave us everything to make it an enjoyable and a satisfying trip.
The overnight hotel Lotus (Luxor) had a pool, nice staff, with a lovely view of the Nile river. They didn't accept credit cards, only cash (lobby ATM) and the food was disappointing.

We had a few hours on the 2nd day to relax a bit and enjoy the pool, continue touring, then to the airport back to Cairo late evening.
Overall, we enjoyed the trip.

  Total bait-and-switch, not at all what we paid for - We booked this Bedouin dinner tour with Dahab Safari Day Tours, which is advertised as a camel ride, dinner (and perhaps shisha/hookah) in a Bedouin tent, and stargazing at night.... read more Instead, we were picked up at 9pm (instead of the advertised 7pm) by Jeep, joined by another couple, taken to an outdoor concert venue (no camel), fed a foil-wrapped dinner, and watched a dance and fire show until 11pm, at which point we had to ask the other couple and our driver permission to return to Dahab. While this experience may be enjoyable for some, we were looking forward to a peaceful evening, interacting with some Bedouins, and stargazing up in the mountains. Instead, we watched what was basically a rave with electronic music and a series of dances and fire stunts. No part of this experience was authentic or Bedouin in nature, and the saddest part is that we were looking forward to seeing some stars, but couldn’t see the sky because of all of the lights from the show. We went to Dahab Safari Day Tours the next day and told them about our experience, and instead of offering to make it right or apologizing, the owner became very argumentative, stating that other travelers booked the same tour and enjoyed their experience. We finally settled on a partial refund for half the amount of the booking, but the most frustrating part is that we lost one of the few evenings we had in Dahab, when we could have planned something more enjoyable with that time.
