Visit the famous historical and archaeological sites in Cairo and Luxor. Visit the Giza Pyramids, the Sphinx, and the Egyptian Museum before heading south to Luxor by train. See the Hatshepsut Temple, the Valley of the Kings, Karnak Temples, and Luxor Temple.
Arrive at Cairo airport, where our representative will be awaiting you. You will be transferred then by an A/C car to your hotel.
Overnight in Cairo
After breakfast starts your full-day tour and visits the Egyptian Museum of antiquities. On display is a rare collection of 5000 years of art the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated to the Tutankhamen collection of treasures, gold, and jewelry.
Then visit the Great Pyramids – Cheops, Chephren & Mykerions. Cheops is the most colossal ever built. Next is a close-up look at Sphinx – a huge funeral complex guarded by the legendary lion body with the face of king Chephren. Transfer to the train station for your overnight sleeper train to Luxor. Dinner on the train.

Breakfast on board the train. Arrive in Luxor and check in to the hotel. Then your guided tour to the West Bank starts: visit the Valley of Kings, the Deir El Bahari Temple, Colossi of Memnon, and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Then we will visit the East Bank – Luxor Temple and see its courtyard and the granite statues of Ramses the Great. We will proceed to Karnak Temples, the greatest example of worship in history, which was dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu.
Transfers to the train station for your overnight Sleeper train to Cairo. Dinner on the train.

Breakfast on the train. Arrive and then transfer to your hotel. The guided tour starts with a visit to Salah El Din Citadel, which was constructed by Salah El Din on the Mokattam hills to defend Cairo against the armies of Crusaders. After this, we will visit the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque which was designed by the architect Yousif Bushnaq, a Turkish man who came specially from Istanbul and built this great mosque for Mohamed Ali, the ruler of Egypt (1805-1849) who ruled over 45 years.
Lunch will be served in a local restaurant. We will continue the tour and drive to the area of Islamic Cairo, where you will be able to explore Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s old bazaar. Then we will move on to Coptic Cairo and visit the Hanging Church, the Ben Ezra Synagogue, the Church of St. Barbara, and the Church of Abu Serga. Return to your hotel after your trip.
